Rasterized Eden

Rasterized Eden (2022),  layers sculptural works with digital renderings of plants and trees into found images of Yosemite National Park. Each image functions as a portrait of the sculptural works. These images make reference to digital landscape renderings found in video games like Animal Crossing or Zoo Tycoon. With the act of photographing them and placing them back into a real-life landscape, I question the presence and role that digital technologies have in natural spaces.
